Environment Mood Painting Halo - Practice

I never really got to finish this piece...only had the jpeg lying around due to my mac being reformatted,if do have the time to finish this one day it would be frakking bliss...but i don't see that happening unfortunately due to my laziness.

The course lecturer helped me a lot in this piece as i was struggling so much with it as I had really bad knowledge of painting snowy environments,after assistance I proceeded to touch up and pour in textures to cover to just give it a little more bang even though it is unfinished.What was running through my mind when painting this was the anticipation after seeing halo 4,yes i do know the background is unfinished...welp hopefully I find that PSD file~
